Why You Should Get A Vanuatu Passport

Vanuatu is an archipelago of 83 islands in the South Pacific that resembles a peaceful, vibrant and culturally diverse nation that welcomes international visitors. However, the shores of Vanuatu have more to offer than just their sandy beaches and sparkling blue waters.

Vanuatu is a hub for global investors attracted by the country’s incredibly fast and almost unbelievably inexpensive second citizenship programmes – along with their benefits. An astute wealth protection plan includes a strong Vanuatu passport, a second home in a private, tranquil, and prosperous location, as well as financial peace of mind.

What is a Vanuatu Second Passport?

The second passport usually lasts between four and five years and is issued to people who require two visas. By obtaining a second passport, you will obtain second citizenship and residency in Vanuatu. Having a second passport comes in handy when you are looking to travel, live, bank, operate a business or invest without being restricted by your primary government.

Among the benefits available to new citizens are:

  • Freedom of movement: Vanuatu passport holders can travel visa-free to more than 113 countries. The chances of you being interrogated by authorities upon arriving in the UK, Singapore, or any other Schengen area country are slim to none. It saves you the time you previously spent on obtaining travel documents.
  • Favourable tax environment: The country has a loyalty-based tax system. There is no tax on global income, inheritance, or capital gains. World Bank data indicates that Vanuatu is among the top 100 countries for business facilitation.
  • No need to fly halfway around the world to get a passport: Government approved, licensed agents such as Carte Blanche act exclusively as agents for citizenship applications.
  • Confidentiality of the application process: Information about obtaining a second passport is confidential and not revealed to the country of origin. The Vanuatu government recognizes dual citizenship.
  • Passport for the whole family in a very short time: Along with the main applicant, Vanuatu citizenship may also be granted to a spouse, children under 25 years and parents aged 65 and above.

What Is Required To Obtain A Vanuatu Second Passport?

To apply for a Vanuatu second passport, you will need the following documents:

  • Copies of current passports for both the principal applicant and dependents
  • Copies of national identity cards for both the principal applicant and dependents old enough to have one
  • Marriage certificate if you have a spouse
  • Birth certificates if you have children
  • Police clearance certificates
  • Health declaration
  • School transcripts or any other academic documents for children aged 18-25 years
  • Asset proof. The total value of your assets cannot be less than USD 450,000
  • Employment and academic certificates for the principal applicant
  • Bank reference letter
  • Passport photos with white backgrounds

To Conclude

You might feel overwhelmed by the second citizenship landscape, and it’s difficult to know where you should invest for maximum returns. A safe and secure Vanuatu passport, a stable second home, and lucrative wealth protection aren’t the only benefits offered by this program. Its simplicity, ease, speed, and cost contribute to what makes it particularly distinctive. Carte Blanche is a government approved and duly licensed immigration firm which was established in 2011.
